Ms. Helene
HI, My name is Helene Calabro and I am the Director here at A Child’s Nest! I have over 30 years of
experience working in the early childhood education field as a teacher, director, and child advocate..
I attended Temple University where I received my BS in Early Childhood Education in Social Work.
When I have free time, I enjoy spending time with my Grandson, reading, and my favorite place is the beach.
My name is Denise Woniewala. I have a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from The University of Rhode Island. I am currently working on my Master’s of Education at Wilmington University. I have been working with children since the age of 14. I have experience in behavioral health care (Intensive behavioral health care and ABA). My goal as a teacher is to encourage students to learn new materials and help promote positive behavior in the classroom. I have been working at A Child’s Nest since August and enjoy working with kids. I enjoy learning about their learning experience and watching them interact with others.

My name is Mrs. Bridget Iyare. I came, and also obtained my college degree from Nigeria and am married with three children. I have been a teacher for well over 15yrs with great compassion in taking care of Children. I love cooking
My name is Julie Hanson. I have a son named Jason and a bunny named Isabella. I have a bachelor’s degree from Widener University. I have taught preschool, pre k and kindergarten for a number of joyful years. I am happy to have the privilege to mentor young ladies and gentlemen at A Child’s Nest for the past few years.

Hi! I'm Ms. Karen. I work in the
pre-k room now with Ms. Erika. I started at AMC Sept 2nd, 2020 but have worked with infants to after school age groups since my 1st daycare job starting in 2007 where I worked for 12 and 1/2 yrs . I've been married to my husband for 25yrs and we have a daughter and a son. I always loved being a mom, so working with children was an easy decision for me because I love teaching kids and helping them learn. Kids say the funniest things sometimes and I love the way their minds can think!I enjoy doing crossword, sudoku and jigsaw puzzles, playing family games, playing with my dog, going to the beach, dancing, singing and hanging out with family and friends. My favorite season is winter because I love the snow!
Ms. Keashana
My name is Keashana Jackson and I am the teacher in the preschool classroom. I received my Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education and my Bachelor’s degree from Neumann University in Early Elementary Education. I have worked with children over 20 years. I knew early on as teenager that I had a passion for teaching and working with young children. I enjoy learning how the minds of young children work and how excited children get when learning new things. It brings me pleasure knowing that I have a positive impact on a child’s life by providing nurturing and supportive care in a way that allows a child to engage in activities and explore the world around them in a safe and fun learning environment. It also brings me joy feeding the young inquisitive minds of children by guiding and fostering their abilities so they gain strength in all areas of their development.

My name is Jordan Valentino. I am a graduate of Monsignor Bonner high school and I am currently in college. I enjoy helping the School Age class here at A Child’s Nest with their school work and being a mentor to them.

I work as an assistant teacher with two years of experience.
I love working with little kids, helping and teaching them new things every day. I like to play, dance, color enjoy all the time with them.

My name is Michele Valentino. I have two wonderful sons, Ryan and Jordan, two dogs and 5 cats. I have been here at A Child’s Nest since 2012, working in every classroom here. Currently, I am assistant to Helene and enjoy being able to visit all the kids and all of the classrooms every day. I have over 28 years experience in child care and I enjoy watching them grow and learn.
Hello, I’m Ms. Lauren! I have been working here at a child’s nest since 2013. I have worked with every age group but my absolute favorite is preschool/Pre-K! In my spare time I like to spend time with my family. I’m also a volunteer firefighter with the Folsom fire dept since 2007!

Hello, my name is Ms. Nicole. I am the two year old teacher. I have been working at A Child’s Nest since 2017. I currently have my CDA in Infants-Toddlers. Since I was a little girl I’ve always had such a passion for kids so I knew exactly that I wanted to do when I got older. I absolutely love working with kids and wouldn’t want to be doing anything else but this. I am excited to be working/teaching your child new things.

HI! I am Miss Chrissy! Welcome to The Emerging Toddlers Room! Teaching is an absolute passion of mine! I am excited to work with you and your child. It is going to be a year full of fun, learning, and lots of adventures and I cannot wait to see what the year has in store for us! I thought you might like to know a little bit about me.
I am married to my wonderful husband, Rex. We have three beautiful children, two of which we are in the process of adopting. Miss Mackenzie (18), Faith (7) and Jared (2) take up most of my free time, but some hobbies I enjoy are ballroom dancing, art, and cooking.
I have lived in Souderton now for 7 years. I went to Upper Moreland High School. I have worked in the daycare field off and on since I was 16. I have decided recently that the passion I have had for so long meant I needed to return to the field. I recently received my CDA for Infants and Toddlers.
